Ukiyo-e heroes is reaching their various goals for woodblock prints to be made. The guy originally couldn't do the Pokemon one because it would be too hard to carve into the wood, so he came up it a new design for the Pokemon woodblock. "I Choose You."
I kind of want to get that woodblock print, but I'm ok with 2 giclee prints.
A friend of mine is starting his own project of a nice piece of apparel + pencil case. I did a video for him promoting the item and it gained an extra 250 dollars. Wondering what you artists think!
How the hell is Diamond Trust of London not funded yet!?!
It's very close, and it's on the front page of KS.
Ro called me out on Twitter for missing this post and not hearing about this game until today Luckily, Diamond Trust of London still has over a thousand copies left and you can grab it for $30 on Jason Rohrer's website. Nabbed one today.
I'm currently with no open Kickstarters. I ended up giving Ukiyo-e Heroes $180 for 5 giclee prints. I am excited to receive them in the mail. It's so fun reading the updates as well as watching the videos of awesome bearded guy in Japan.
Just wanted to let people know that the Kickstarter for "Put a wormhole on your wall" (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1241276222/put-a-wormhole-on-your-wall) is ending in about 20 hours. For $25, you get 15 ultra high resolution jpegs of strange attractor art images that you can print out as wall decorations. The art is just gorgeous:
Tenra Bansho Zero looks interesting. It's the second Japanese RPG to be translated to English, after Maid. I could imagine trying to run an FFVI-style game using this system. Luke Crane is doing the layout, which is how I heard about it.
Luke Crane landed a job at Kickstarter where he gets to review game projects all day and give the creators feedback. That is such an awesome job, and they picked a good guy to do it (I'll admit to being a little bit jealous).
I put in for a product management job with them while back and never heard anything. Kickstarter is still in that early startup phase where new employees get equity in the company, so basically, when someone inevitably comes along with fat stacks of cash and buys Kickstarter, it could be a nice meal ticket.

I am quite impressed with the way the Homestuck video game has performed. Good on Hussy!
