Yellowjackets also inbreed. Seems to be a Georgia thing.
They are insects, that is natural for them. The bulldogs used as mascots are forcefully inbred by rednecks and born with conditions that make them die early. They've gone through 3 of them since I've been a student. Frankly I feel sorry for the poor ugly things.
But Buzz is so cute I just want to squeeze him! ^-^
Chaos, have you guys done anything cool since Beethoven?
Well, excluding dominating half of europe before World War I and being intricately involved in both world wars (which is of course dependent on whether or not you mean "good" or merely "relevant" when you use the word "cool"), there is the Wirtschaftswunder with the country rebuilding itself after WWII and being the first to greet eastern block citizens after the removal of Hungary's borders in 1989. Some pop culture icons which originated from austria since WWII include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Red Bull and Falco. More recently, Christoph Waltz won an Academy award for best supporting actor in 2010. In sports, austria pretty much dominates alpine skiing since it became a recognized sport. In science I can point at Anton Zeilinger, known for demonstrating quantum teleportation. However, I don't really want to essentially regurgitate the wikipedia article on austria, so go and look there if you want more.
Tokyopop did say that they were putting out more Hetalia. On the subject of that, it was a webcomic I enjoyed (and translated) before it became a screaming fangirl phenomenon, which kind of turned me off to the whole thing. However, I refuse to let a fandom completely ruin things for me. I like Lilo and Stitch and won't stop liking it because people do bad Stitch impressions. Also, while Rym isn't the number one genius in the whole world, he is pretty dang smart, Luke. While we do have amazing people like Timo in the forums, Rym can hold his own in complex discussions, and is fairly accomplished in his own right. You do have him beat in certain fields though, like juggling, world traveling, and egotism, which is no mean feat.

THIS!
Perhaps people get tired of things so easily because they immerse themselves so much into that thing. Moderation.
There will always be not so great fan based things on whatever you like. You take the good with the bad, but overall take what you love out of it and appreciate it for that.
Season six has gone deeply downhill. We watched two epsisodes from later in the season last night, and they were surprisingly cliche, unfunny, and outright mean-spirited.
I think that's more things that used to be good but now aren't than things you liked and now hate. I haven't seen anything in the last 3 seasons that would make me call it a "good" show.

But Rym is only one half of Scrym. Together they have average intelligence.
Adam Sandler I think is another big addition to the list...which hurts, because I've watched him all my life.
I've watched him since his days in SNL and practically all of his movies, and loved them. I even love ones that everyone seems to hate, like Little Nicky and Eight Crazy Nights. Somehow, in 2006 with Click, he's had this need to be schmaltzy and add in these tacked on messages about family in his films. His early stuff was great because it was insane and surreal. And it's like, why would you make Funny People, which acknowledges how talented and smart you are...and then continue to make such shlock? And he's making careers out of other terrible comedians like Nick Swardson and Kevin James.

The season is batting 0 for 2 currently.
Personally, I think they re-find their stride a little ways through. Get to at least "The Late Philip J. Fry" before judging.

And let's be realistic: bulldogs are better than yellowjackets. When was the last time you cuddled with a yellowjacket?
I rest my case.
I mean look at this guy, how could you not want to cuddle him?
Nyeh.
But Buzz is so cute I just want to squeeze him! ^-^
I prefer pork these days, anyway. It is leaner.
So fucking overpowered, always thwarting my plans, no matter who I am.
TOKYOPOP!

Nuff' said.
Also, New Rock.
