A lot of the news coming out about the Big 4 thing hints that they are definitely planning on another US show... eventually (probably not this year, then). Lars gave some lame excuses about "testing the waters" and not knowing how well it will be received, but I think it's safe to assume that there will be a New York show eventually, assuming the California show goes well (which it will).

Well, since Pete commented about how he has stopped liking slayer years ago, I will post the one slayer song I truly like, why? Because it's completely differen tthan their other shit. Tom Araya sings, he SINGS!

Well, actually that song sort of reminds their other song Seasons in the Abyss in which Tom Araya, in fact, also sings.
I do like this sort of Slayer better nowadays though. If not only for them branching out.
Btw, this song is also the HARDEST song I've ever had to sing in Rock Band. Holy shit, I thought BoRap was hard, but this fucking takes the poisonous, mercury cake and a half.
Here, have some modern classic heavy metal. This is like Motorhead and Iron Maiden fucked and had a child. Only better.
Give this one time. The intro is like 2.5 minutes long. It's fucking awesome. I promise. Also, the audio is a little fucked up around 2:35 - 2:42, which is really unfortunate because the riffage is totally fucking awesome right there.
It's fucking awesome. They're an instrumental progressive folk metal band. They have a huge classic/doom metal sound - a la Sabbath and Iron Maiden - as well as more modern progressive passages, acoustic phrases, and a range of folk influences.
Seriously. It's just bad-ass. You'll like it. Listen to it.
EDIT: I really don't think you understand how much you want to listen to this shit. Fo ril.

Let's circle pit.
Though, I have trouble calling Creed metal.
That's right, Giant's Stadium. Jets GTFO.
I thought this music video was pretty awesome.

As penance, go raid a monastery.

It's out in Europe and it's awesome. It's in the usual places.

Well, you can listen to the entire album, on their website, for free.

I know it's blasphemy to post Vocaloid in the thread but, the screams in this song, they are made with one...
I suddenly want to try using Vocaloid...
Check out Scale the Summit. They're another instrumental prog band. Not so much with the folk, but still quite good.
