    I discovered "Five Finger Death Punch" because their new album "American Capitalist" was in the new section on Spotify today. I'm pretty sure this is the kind of metal band that other people will say is shit. Thing is, I know nothing about them other than what this album sounds like, and I dig it.

    I think it's as close as you can physically get to true a capella metal. I don't think anyone could actually beatbox with the required intensity for so long.

    I love the concept, but in my opinion, Van Canto aren't really that great, good novelty band though.

    A few years ago, when my taste in metal had not really been defined, I listened to Gojira's From Mars to Sirius and I was not too pleased with it. Holy shit that opinion has changed since then. It's too damn good!

    The new Nightwish single "Storytime" leaked in a few places. It's really good. Not sure how the whole "we're making a movie with our album" thing is gonna work out for them, but the music is definitely lookin' pretty good.
