So if grown-ups have infinite money, why is it that my family is not going to PAX and we aren't replacing our cars with APCs? Don't say it's because "they have different priorities," because these are Constantine's ideas.
I think when he says this, he means that (employed) adults have a regular source of money that keeps getting replenished, that they can use to buy things that they need and want. When you are a kid, you say "I want that game!" and you have no money for it. When you are an adult, if you budget for things, you can afford most of your wants and needs within a reasonable scope. Sometimes you have to swap out one want for another, but money keeps coming to you as long as you go to a job that takes your time.
Also, if you are irresponsible, the credit card bill goes up and up, which is not infinite money.
Yeah, both my parents have full-time jobs. What's your definition of "reasonable"?
Actual vacation days, paid overtime, and a perfectly comfortable income with just one 40 hour work week worth of income for a family of 4. You know, as you would expect from any sane place.
In Zombies Part 3 could you please talk about what you would do if you were bitten, turned into a zombie, but still remembered part of your past life, and retained some of your skills? Would you side with the rest of the zombies? Or would you do your own thing and try not to fall apart too much until a possible cure is found?

Glorify great warlord Xyu and teach my undead brethren how to be a terrifying horde.
Told from a female zombie’s perspective, this smart, witty detective series mixes urban fantasy and romantic dramedy.
Wut. Also: "Gwendolyn “Gwen” Dylan" GWENDOLYN GWENDOLYN OH POOR POOR GWENDOLYN YOU SMELL OF THE GRAVE. Sounds like it's worth a read for the supporting cast though.

For middle-class people like myself, Reasonable is that you can buy nice quality necessities like vegetables, toothpaste, and pet food without worrying, and still have a little money left over to entertain yourself with. You can go on one small vacation per year (maybe just close), you take care of pets, get nice produce at the grocery store, and if the electric teapot breaks, you can buy a new one without worrying if you afford the extra expense that month. It's having a good quality of life, being able to afford daily things without worry, and only having to plan for stuff like laptops. I'll put it this way: When I was a kid, I had no money to buy a book that I wanted. Now, if there is a book I really want, I can buy it and my financial situation isn't super affected.
Hey Apreche, is it possible to reinstate IDShare or is it not compatible with Vanilla 2? I ask because it not being in here makes organizing things (like the upcoming Geekchat at 8 PM EST tonight) more annoying than it should be.

The problem being that it's not integrated with the forums and requires a separate account. And it's not publicly viewable for those who don't want to bother with signing up (though at least there's a good reason for this). Result being that, it getting neglected and ignored. The only reason people used the integrated IDShare in Vanilla 1 was because of just that, it was integrated.
I can't. When I try to login with it, it tells me my account is inactive.
It's separate. Your forum account's not tied to the IDshare account, unlike before. Don't bother with it though, it's worthless in its current incarnation.
I remember a while back somebody mentioned (I think it was Scott) having a book club type thing for Hidden gems of the Gameboy library. I'd like to see something come of that, whether its a semi-monthly show like the book club, or just a forum thing.

I've thought about creating a thread and organizing this before. I own more Game Boy games than I ever have for any other system, and there's a lot of really excellent things that I wish more people had played.
I've got a ton of gameboy games as well, but for one reason or another I don't usually get around to playing them. Something like this might actually get me to.
It seems like most of the advice Rym and Scott have ever given about being a good DM basically boils down to "become a player in a game with a good DM and learn from him/her."

Which itself is not a great advise. There is no style of GMing that works for everyone. One can learn a lot from good GM, but it doesn't remove the need for practice and experimenting on your own.

Also, any chance of a new Question and Answer show? I thought the last one went pretty well, and that was, what, five years ago?
