In short: pc blue screened, attacked by wasps in a stairwell, broke a buddha statue, got yelled at by a road rager, and google decided to pass on me for now. It's been a day.
Well, turns out I was fired. Be nice if they would have told me without having to go to the office, but at least now I can fire off applications in earnest.
Last time some one tried to do that to me I billed them an 8 hour shift separate from the holiday and sick days owed to me.

1. You know what the problem is because your blue screen gave you a code. 2. You didn't fall down the stairs and break your neck, becoming a quadriplegic. 3. You didn't break Jesus Christ statue and get killed by violent, radical Christians. 4. You didn't lower yourself to the road rager's level or get shot by the police for a traffic infringement. 5. There are more companies than Google in the world, plus they'll likely come begging for you in a year or two when you realise you don't need to do more work to get paid the same amount.
Is he talking about all employees or designers or developers? I don't particularly think that Apple has amazing developers. They're probably on par with Microsoft and Google. I think they mostly excel at design of their products and interfaces.
Everything he said was correct. The tweet wasn't required, he had gone beyond the point of no return.
True, but the way he went about it came off as extremely douchey, and his damage control is the flimsiest I've ever seen. Even Microsoft had better excuses for their representatives' dumbass comments.

Unfortunately my line of work doesn't operate like that, especially since I didn't work at the office. At any rate I've got a lead on a pizza delivery job, so that should tide me over.

I interpreted it as his response to the company. Apple has not been an innovator in ages, they copy ideas, apply for obtuse copyrights and claim that they innovated everything and do some jerk off advertising. Musk looks to solve real problems and innovate rather than sell units or pretend to be relevant. Musk likely got mad that he or his company was being compared to a company struggling to be relevant. I'm guess he wouldn't have had the same response if Alphabet was brought up instead of Apple as the former have done real work and do innovate.
As far as developers go, Google and Microsoft may be the same but it's hard to prove considering they only write competent software for Apple owned OSes in Apple owned languages for Apple owned devices that use Apple owned services.
I mean it makes sense, John 2:13, "And if thou cannot stable thine transportation within 25 to 50 steps of the chapel doors, then another congregation must be sought as the path is long and barren and devoid of the lord."
Furthermore they claim that UHOP, and other historically African-American churches, are being discriminated against by DDOT in order to force them to sell their property and move out of the city, and that this discriminatory treatment denies them equal protection under the law.
Because race is a hot topic right now, so let's cash in on that.
I have come to the conclusion that I am physically/mentally incapable of doing well of exams.
How so? Is it your approach or do you type too much to remember how to write fast. Time management inside of the exam? Trade offs between questions?
I'm kind of not sure. I think it mostly comes down to my memory being completely garbage, I do well on homework and projects and then get 65%-70% on the exams.

Are you worried about how your gpa/resume looks? If you are, do some independent work, study things you are interested in outside of the classroom. Start and develop some sort of project and establish yourself and your abilities outside of the classroom. Undergraduate research can be a great way to discover just what you are interested in and what the application of your classes are. Otherwise, have you approached your professor and discussed your worry that your test scores don't reflect your understanding of the material?

I'm only really worried about my gpa in terms of failing out (which would obviously be bad). I have actually already been doing a lot of outside work, and I found out on my last job interview that my GitHub is apparently moderately impressive to some people, so I'm not too worried about that. I have talked to my professors but nothing ever really comes of it. I usually get the same stock answers.
Well, I don't know if there is really a right way to tell people this, so I guess here goes. The CT did not come back negative. The cancer in the bowel is gone, but spots have appeared in my liver. They're not operable and there's no cure. Average life expectancy is 2-3 years, though there are outliers that live much longer. I'll be back on chemo in a few weeks, with the goal of pushing it back and keeping it there for as long as possible. I fully intend to be the outlier, the average is this way because most people that get this are old and not strong anymore. Who knows what they'll come up with in the next decade? I intend to beat it for as long as possible. Gonna need some time to process all of this. I don't really feel anything right now. Thanks.
I knew he had cancer, but at last mention it sounded fairly positive. Guess not.
I dunno if this is true but someone told me that after his first remission he was doing homeopathic treatments and that it was treatable. I mean, either way it freaks me out and reminds me of my own mortality. It is terrible. But c'mon man, don't do the Steve Jobs thing.

This is so sad that it's funny. Step 1 of a project is to have an idea, they don't even have that.

bike lanes.
Bike lanes reduce parking, preventing good christians from praying at church.

Losing him is going to suck.
Fuckin' cancer.
