  • Yeah. Of course he did. But we all know he's a big fat liar. Not that I'm planning to vote for him anyway.
  • Oh I plan to live forever so I'm set I think :)
Dying would be cheaper than, say, having to stay in the hospital for a few days.
Underwritten in my statement is also me never having to get any major procedures done.

    Yes I'm being facetious.

    To change the subject:

Epic Systems is flying me out to Madison, WI on Monday to interview me for a summer internship. Then on Friday I have a phone interview for a summer internship with Microsoft.

    Nbd.

  • I think i pay about $150 a month (before taxes) for the best and most flexible health insurance that is offered to me.
  • "The only thing you really need to know about the Windows 8 version of Minesweeper is that it has an Adventure Mode.

I’ll let that sink in for a second.

They added an adventure mode... to Minesweeper."
  • "They added an adventure mode... to Minesweeper."
    I'd play it.
  • Windows 8 Minesweeper is pretty sexy.
  • So, lower Manhattan is still somewhat fucked up, and the subways won't be running at 100% for a few months, but I have work on Monday (in Chinatown). So I bought a bike! I already rode around Williamsburg this evening, and feel an amazing sense of freedom (and the potential for getting some really good exercise). It's a used Shwinn (sp) road bike, and wasn't too expensive ($300 with a new kickstand and some upgrades).
  • This could be the best thing for bikes and New York getting on better.
  • I'm playing JFK Reloaded and it is the most hilarious game I've ever played.

And yes I know I'm going to hell.
  • Translating from Spanish (I barely speak) to Japanese (in which I fair better); mostly successful!
  • Just got my first kill in assassin. A smooth IRA stlye "Your time has come" then a nerf round to the head. Debating on shaving my head.

    Equestria LA is over.
Boo yah 1: My panel went well. Recorded it with two of my own cameras and Everfree Radio recorded it too. When I was done, I was told by staffers that I was the most prepared, most professional person they'd seen through the entire weekend and that I was very entertaining. Most of the other panels were for industry folks.

Boo yah 2: Afterwards, I got to hang with Amy Keating Rogers and Cindy Morrow for a while. Amy is super sweet and one of those people you just want to hug.

Boo yah 3: Also got to hang with Mike the Microphone, ACRacebest, Silva Hound, and Alex S. We collectively gave advice to an audio noob.

Boo Yah 4: Got a ton of free stuff for helping out the operations team: Twilight Sparkle poster signed by Tara Strong, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Celestia posters, two HUB bags, and two t-shirts.

Boo Yah 5: I spent not a single dime apart from food!

Boo Yah 6: I got a crap ton of good footage!

Fun, adventure, citizenship, nice weather, change of scenery, that sort of thing.

Today, a man that wanted women to only have a right to 80% of their bodies was kept out of the White House. Three rape apologists were soundly defeated, and the US got its first Buddhist Asian-American female senator, openly gay female senator, and the first disabled senator (also female). Weed is now straight-up legal in three states, along with gay marriage in several others.

I'm proud of my fucking country. I'm happy I can still call this place home, and I'm happy that people stood up for something good.

This election doesn't solve all of our problems, not by a long shot. There're big things we need to address. But this election season has been so vitriolic and shitty and really just hope-destroying, that I will fucking TAKE THIS, OKAY?

So agreed. And my state got a new, great Senator too. /fist-bump.
  • To add on top of that, California actually voted to raise taxes in order to pay for education. That never happens.

The "dogs and cats living together" act passed too.
