  • I bought the new Left Rights album and it's pretty good.

  • On repeat. Over and over.
  • Motherfuckin' Girl talk.

(Side note - I actually had to go to mashup breakdown to find out that part of the lyrics for first clip was, in fact, "Pump that shit up", not "Fuck that Gypsy", which is inadvisable under the best of circumstances. Trust me.)
  • Motherfuckin' Girl talk.
Generals gathered in their masseeeeees~ GET OUT THE WAY
  • Continuing my hip-hop education with Busta Rhymes. I don't understand how he keeps a flow that fast. I talk fast, but goddamn. It's unreal.
  • Generals gathered in their masseeeeees~ GET OUT THE WAY
Just like witches at black massessssss....GET OUT THE WAY, BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY

Too good to miss just to avoid a double post - while on the subject of mashups, how can we forget the Mighty FanFaroff?

And of course, the one you never expect to work -

  • I saw a shop-vac at Costco today and instantly thought of this song.
  • Shuggie Otis is so awesome. SO awesome.

  • Listen to Devin Townsend a lot, to my surprise he has had a storied career in the musical industry so I am constantly find new and old songs he's done and not one sounds the same.

Frenzal Rhomb is big on my list of punk bands that don't make me angry.

But the one thing that i will listen to every day with out fail is the unearthed box set of Johnny Cash.

That's because they're awesome. If you like dirty punk like that, also try "Punxie Poison and the Poison Pens".
  • I've been catching up on over a year of Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Podcast. I'm listening to them randomly. If I hear "Swedish Egil Mix of Mezmerized" it will be too soon. The song is alright, but I choose different tracks that were months apart and the same songs were on them.
  • Just realized that Girl Talk's "Oh No" samples Shuggie Otis's "Strawberry Letter 23." My head exploded.

Yeah that episode is still on of my favorite cartoons to this day.
  • Let me play you the songs of my people.
