I tried watching Quantum of Solace. I've not seen a lot of Bond movies, but I have seen both of Timothy Dalton's films and On Her Majesty's Secret Service, and I prefer those to Quantum. I mean, where's the story? I couldn't find it anywhere. I had to stop halfway through.
I went back to my childhood and rewatched a movie I used to watch on a fairly regular basis: Jumanji. I loved it as a kid, and I still love it now.
For me personally, it doesn't really hold up. Even so, it's better than all of Joe Johnston's other movies (Jurassic Park III, The Wolfman)
Biodome.
I want to shove the master tapes of that movie down Pauly Shore's throat.

That's because it's one of the few bond movie where the plot relies heavily on that your not only know who James Bond is, roughly, but also that you've seen the Previous bond film, Casino Royale. Try that one first, and it might make a bit more sense.
That movie is awesome. I don't even know why the Nostalgia Critic reviewed it. It's insanely quotable too.
The Nostalgia Critic also reviewed the following awesome movies: Commando, Conan the Barbarian, Rocky IV and Tank Girl. Clearly he is quite misguided.
To be fair, Biodome was apart of my childhood, my brother and I rented it atleast once a month. "Nothing new to rent? Let's get Biodome." And we watched it all the time.
So after watching the awesome documentary, Black Dynamite, switched it up a bit with Brick. Amazing film. Damn I'm glad my high school years were no where near that complex. Or deadly.
By the way,Apocalypse Nowis burning a hole in my dvd stack. What do you guys think of it. I'll probably watch it on Tuesday.
Make sure you watch the original cut. I had never seen it, and wound up watching the super extended version cause some friends had it on in college. End result was I thought it was a decent flick but not classic, and I'm pretty sure I would have liked it a lot more w/o all the extra crap.
Jackass 3D was so fun in the theaters. Maybe it's because we hadn't seen new sketches in 2-3 years, but damn, it's fun to watch that kind of movie with a crowd.

While a couple scenes managed to get under my skin, Paranormal Activity 2 was mostly just boring, depressing, and occasionally hilarious (usually unintentionally). It did give me an idea for a screenplay/comic, though. Something equal parts Paranormal Activity, House of Leaves, and Miyazaki-esque head-trip. I'll decide if it's a good idea or not once I've had some sleep.

Sounds perfect for NaNoWriMo! I thought Paranormal Activity 2 wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as the first movie.

Considering the fact that I have died in my dreams before is making me dubious, though.
