Yeah, I want more new types. And no, we have a lot of type combinations that haven't been used. I've looked at it before. The few new interesting ones I saw were Grass/Steel, Bug/Fire, Bug/Electric, and like...Fire/Ghost and Water/Ghost. There are a lot of cool new Ghost Pokemon.
First of all, with more Pokemon than types, the fact that they have not used every possible type is very bad. Also, Ghost Pokemon are the best, so yay. Also, there are a bunch of type combinations that only exist on crazy legendary Pokemon. For example, the only ghost/dragon according to the Internet is Giratina. Why can't there be a cute tiny ghost dragon that you find right away and isn't legendary or weird?
Yeah, a lot of weird/cool type combinations haven't been done. There are some boring ones that have just been ignored, like Ground/Fighting, but cool ones like Grass/Dragon and Grass/Electric, or other totally weird types. There are an obnoxious amount of just plain Normal type Pokemon and such. While they're cool, there are too many reused types and type combinations.
has every possible type combination been used? I think so, but I'm not 100% positive.
New type combinations in gen five are: psychic/fire, dark/fight, normal/grass, water/ghost, bug/electric, grass/steel, ghost/fire, electric/ground, ground/ghost, dark/steel, dark/dragon, bug/fire, rock/fight, dragon/fire, dragon/electric, dragon/ice, normal/fight (alternate form for normal/psychic event thing) and pure flying.
If I were in charge of Pokemon I would have all new Pokemon with all new types.
That's good news. The question is whether all these abilities will have unique animations. I turn the animations off, of course, but it's annoying that so many abilities are just the same as others.
We already knew that though. Nice to see the list out.
EDIT: BUTTERFREE DID NOT NEED TINTED LENS. GIVE BACK COMPOUND EYES FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- Now they made it useless. EDIT2: LEDIAN WITH IRON FIST. Some of these new ability choices make no sense, some are too good to be true (aftermath Electrode). I kinda hope you can use old abilities, but I doubt it.
Did you guys hear about the new Leveling System that they implemented into B/W?
More info please?
All stats are now hidden, just like EVs and IVs. You're forced to judge pokemon based solely on battle performance and level number. No experience points tracker, either.

I'm sorry, but I don't buy it without some evidence to support this claim.

Yup, I'm just dicking around. I'm curious too; googling doesn't turn up jack.
I was talking about the leveling system. Apparently, if a lower level Pokemon battles a higher-level Pokemon, they get MORE experience based on how big of a gap the levels were.
A Level 15 Pokemon will get 100% EXP for beating a level 10 Pokemon, but a Level 5 Pokemon will get 150% EXP if it beats that same Level 10 Pokemon. I think it just makes leveling lower-level Pokemon a lot faster later on.
No, a Pokemon at a certain level will give out a specific amount of EXP. Trained Pokemon give out more, but it was never determined by the level of the Pokemon you as the player are using.
It's almost effectively the same though, because a lower level PkMn's EXP bar fills up more dramatically the higher level the PkMn it has defeated anyway. Now they're just adding mechanics to that.
It's actually quite significant, since the amount of XP isn't static anymore. Yeah, your level 5 just beat a level 10 Pokemon, but it would only get 100 exp, as if it was level 6 or 9. The effects seemed like a lot, since it takes less experience to level early on, but there's no scaling for the process.
Now you're given an additional reward bonus for defeating monsters that are of a much higher level than you. Supposedly, it really adds up, and training new Pokemon is a lot easier.

That's stupid. Abilities, base stats and movepools can make Pokémon with the same type completely different. There is. Fan-made, sure, but there is.
EDIT: OH SHIT, POLITOAD HAS DRIZZLE AND NINETAILS HAS DROUGHT!

You sync your game with a website, and it beams some of the old Pokemon and items into the game.
