The heat isn't actually that bad here... it's only 88! It's the lack of wind today that's making it so oppressive out there. It's a perfect day for washing fleece though... no wind means shit doesn't blow away!
The weather is just so comfortable here, a nice 20 degrees Celsius. Was very nice for checking out Bruges. Now there's a heavy shower bringing in a cool breeze.
It sure is [insert weather] here. I could sure go for a [insert appropriate beverage].
It is actually not that bad in southeast Georgia. I mean it gets to the high 90s but that is normal for this time of year. It is a bit wetter than normal which is making it quite humid but that is nothing new for a coastal city either so not much to complain about.
There is something extremely dissatisfying about using heat as an excuse to stay indoors all day. Should have just manned up, gone outdoors, maybe gone for a run or found a nice shady spot to read, but instead I stayed inside all day. Regrettable decision.
My AC has been running pretty much constantly today.
Is it irony that, in order to stay cool, we all turn down the air conditioning, that in turn uses lots of energy and feeds into the climate change loop, ensuring even hotter times ahead? Or is that an Alanis Morrisette - type mistake?

Yeah.
So we can hang out by my pool, drink mojitos, and sweat.
