I clicked on the link just to see what was going on and it gave me the game so thanks. Don't really know that much about Insurgency, just that it seems to be like a hardcore tactical shooter.
I always think about getting the SC2 expansion, but I haven't really even played the base game.
From Scott's link, both the base and the first expansion are only $10 each.
I don't play SC2 competitively any more but the singleplayer missions are fun especially for the price being offered now.
Yeah I definitely can't play multiplayer anymore. I used to be all about that shit when I was younger. Playing custom maps and ladder matches, but I think that was back in a day when people still weren't playing RTS games competitively on a frequent basis. Maybe part of it is just me being older and slower.
I keep wanting to think I'll be into the single player but I didn't take a lot of time to play the single player stuff on the core game. I'm just hesitant to get the expansion if I start the core stuff and realize I don't really like it.
Does anyone use a PS4 controller on their PC? My 360 wireless adaptor fried and I can't replace it. Xbone controller will work out of the box but I'm far more likely to get a PS4 at some point.
I was going to post a link to one of the many articles on the subject but for some reason the websites I looked at are hiding the URL when I visit with a mobile browser so I can't copy and paste the URL.

Do you know if it still uses analogue signals like the PS3?
If yes then it will vary from game to game. Or you could get a program that will translate the analogue signals to digital.
You can get perfectly good 360 wireless adaptors from Dealextreme. I think mine was about 12 bucks, and comparing the hardware to a Microsoft one, it's literally identical apart from the branding.
I've been using mine since about 2010 or so, and never had a problem with it. Here's one. The internal hardware is identical to the proper branded one, at least with the one I have.
