Man, the CGI and "camerawork" in Disney's Chicken Little have aged unimaginably poorly.
Why would you ever watch that movie? There are two movies in the canon that you do not watch because they are unmitigated shit, and you chose one of them.

What's the other?
I would assume Home on the Range, as it's also unmitigated shit.

I was at DisneyToon Studios today. Ryan might have wet himself. It was gorgeous.
I has a jelly. Were you on a tour, or do you know someone on the production staff?
I met with one of the guys in charge of sound there cuz I'm on the hunt for an internship this summer.
O___________________O TELL ME EVERYTHING.
It depends how much you really care about Planes, Planes 2, and Tinkerbell 6. I will tell you that the studio was gorgeous, with a cafeteria serving (free) food, beautiful wood paneling everywhere, offices with sliding glass doors and patios that lead out to the main hall, concept art hanging on the walls, skylights, a billiards table, a reading room, and absolutely lovely sound rooms. It's like a mini Pixar. Everyone was as nice and friendly and generous with their time as one would expect at a Disney studio. That would be a stupid awesome place to work.
The Walt Disney Animation Studios canon, namely the numbered Disney films.
Those are the only two?

That must've been like going to a Frank Lloyd Wright outhouse -- beautiful and a wonderful place to be, but at the end of the day, it's just shit.

Oh, you mean the stuff you are full of? Disney and Pixar are both great places to work, full of incredibly talented people. You have no idea what the animation industry is like, and calling the often amazing hard work of hundreds "shit" is incredibly obnoxious. Come back when you have made something of yourself.

While I don't know what working in the animation industry is like, I do know this much: the art makes no money and Shrek^n does. The only way to make good stuff and get paid is to take a chance and work for Disney, hoping you get sent to Pixar. I don't look down on the people who work there in the same way I don't look down on Megyn Kelly: it's not her fault the system is fucked up, but that doesn't mean I have to respect the work she does.

Fucking brilliant logic, Einstein. With the same argument, you could say that Picasso's work toward the end of his life was hack work because he had wealthy benefactors, which is definite bullshit.

Mighty fine Scarecrow you've got there. I didn't say that everything that makes money is bad, I said that the animation industry is currently a wasteland with a small oasis. I would continue, but I'm half way to a panic attack (unrelated).
I sometimes wonder if an advanced alien race coming to the Earth only to wipe out all of humanity using their advanced weaponry would be a good thing...

Man, faux nerd girls really bug me, in a possibly irrational way. Like, there are some really legitimately nerdy cool girls, nobody's denying that. I'm not talking about them. But the totally obvious name-dropping of Reddit and Team Fortress 2 does not impress me, nor does it make me want to give you attention. I find it really condescending.
I guess weird patterns like this emerge when you have a skewed gender ratio.
There is no such thing as a "faux-nerd" girl. Nerd is a label that, while we argue about what precisely we think it means, is ultimately self-defined. By that, I mean it is up to a person to decide whether they are a nerd or not, and nobody else can take that identity away from them. Having a standard of authenticity for nerds is as stupid as the arbitrary authenticity standards for most anything else.
Now, I'm not taking away your right to say that it's annoying when someone is obviously name-dropping "nerd" culture without much depth to her knowledge. I am, however, stating that you can't say "but that person's not a real nerd."
Sorry if that's a little ranty; I just read through this blog post on Forbes about pretty much the same thing, and the post was stewing in my brain.
There are worse things they could pretend to be. Apparently there are high schools in Florida (but not in The South) where pretending to be a redneck is fashionable. Driving unnecessary trucks, affecting horrible speech patterns, wearing flannel, etc. I cannot wrap my head around why someone would possible want to do that.

EDIT: It now occurs to me this may be a joke. In which case, d'oh!
Yeah, it's been one of those days.
