Also, Celestia's hair stopped sparkling when she got taken down.
  • Are you suggesting that Queen Chrysalis knocked the highlights out of Celestia's hair?

Not suggesting. Saying. You can see it!
  • Hmmmm

Interesting, but kind of moot since we HAVE seen celestia appear at night a few times, most noticeably at the end of lesson zero. Her hair was pretty much the same. Assuming the sisters share a similar magic.

Although it can be considered that luna's power works differently or is still in the process of recovering from the 1000 years on the moon. Faust herself did say so that luna had to recover her powers.

And you and rym should really do a RFE on the magics the alicorns use, especially when comparing to cadence, and the overall sparkliness of hairs, :P

  • Changelings really got off the hook easy. Nightmare Moon was trapped on the moon for 1000 years. Discord was turned to stone for a very long time. Both of these punishments were dished out by the Elements of Harmony. If the ponies had actually gotten to the elements. the Queen would have been fucked. Instead they just got bounced by a forcefield.

Probably killed or seriously maimed, considering the force and distance they were flung which is still better than what the elements would do to them.

Also left without food. They looked quite hungry for me.

  • Insert somepony falling in love with a changeling fanfic. If it doesn't exist yet, it will.
  • But the field only extended around Canterlot, and would probably get dropped eventually. They have all of Equestria to feed on, as long as they can avoid significant persecution.

Again, assuming they survived the sudden contact with the ground.

    ...wow...
Reminds me of the guy at the food court (working at PAX) that wanted to make fun of my hat.

That is the best and most obvious troll I've seen recently - Kurt Schlichter wins so hard.
  • Hasbro's putting on a Design a Pony contest. Winner gets tickets to the San Diego Comic-Con and has their pony made into an exclusive 18" model.

Actually, any chord that is not the I chord can make it a deceptive cadence, it doesn't have to be the relative minor. And if I remember correctly, I think it functions more as a pivot chord for the key change rather than a descriptive cadence. Not that I don't appreciate the musical humor ;)

Read that one on another image macro, though I thought it was in reference to This Day Aria.

Of course by that point the gig is pretty much up so, yeah.

  • You know how I said that BBBFF was probably the worst song so far? I might have to take that back.

  • Great song (better if you speak Russian of course):
  • Quoteth the YouTube comments:
"Think about this. This is a translated gypsy-jazz cover, of a song sung by an orphan pony, appearing in an abridged series, of a show for 5-10 year old girls. The amount of cultural mutation to make this possible is astounding."

I swear if someone played the industrial ver. at the club. That would make my year. It could be way better though. Russian one wins.
