If it is more than just "We are shipping the Touch controllers starting tomorrow" and a variety of cool and interesting new games, I will be genuinely impressed. I'm totally down for bouncing back and forth between HMD companies as the hardware matures and new improved versions come out. For now though, I have zero regrets using the Vive.
I was genuinely torn between the two, and had both for a while with intent to sell one. My Oculus shipped to me with a broken strap assembly. It was not ideal, but it was usable. I certainly couldn't resell it like that, though. So off to RMA land it went, and I got a new sealed unit in return. Couldn't justify popping the shrinkwrap there when I was having fun with the Vive.
The more I really explore what Five Nights at Freddy's would be like with a headset on, the more I doubt if I would actually want to play it that way. It might literally be too intense.
I smacked my TV the other night playing Island 359 when I got surrounded by raptors. No damage, but I am changing up my setup a bit so that won't happen again.
My touch is coming in three days and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm glad the battery cases have magnets rather than whatever they were doing in the demo units
Touch is...very good. And having a third sensor means I can play a lot of stuff that was originally designed with for the Vive without worrying about facing forward.
