Are any of you willing to take risks for your activism?
I am a woman and a feminist. Rym and Scott provide a forum (in their show, panels, and the actual forum) to discuss fandoms in such a way that I am included and issues that matter to me are actively and (usually) constructively discussed.
Inclusion and acknowlegdment are activism.
Moreover, I don't need you, Rym, Scott or anyone to be my voice. By simply not shutting me up and shutting me down (as those in GG literally did by harassing me on Twitter to the point that I deleted tweets and shut down my account for months), they are doing plenty.
Lastly, you are ignoring me entirely. Please specifically state what about the GG movement you support and why. The rest of this conversation is just distracting irrelevance.

That's the kind of thing I wanted to hear rather than the "I'm better than you because you're evil" rhetoric. If I end up not banned I'd love to discuss it.
I'm most likely banned and mocked, and my frail self worth will crumble like it always does.

Discuss it now. What are you waiting for? Answer my question or I'm tapping out.
No I need some insurance that my posts won't get cut off while I'm typing. It's like you're asking me to fight a lion while the room fills up with water.
You are getting banned because you refuse to abide by the rules of discussion, when asked a question you answer with obfuscate, incite and avoid the topic. To win you occasionally have to make a point or rebut a point.
You haven't been banned. I've asked several times. This is tedious.
You're either a troll or so painfully immature that you are unintentionally coming off as a troll. If it is the latter, I genuinely hope that you are afforded the tools to grow and enhance your communication and reasoning skills.
Edit: I can guarantee you that you have hurt no one's pride, except maybe your own. All the best. -Kate
If you don't answer the question, I'll ban you simply to protect my friends. Not to protect them from anything you are saying, but to protect them from themselves. They don't seem to be able (or willing) to just ignore you. They have already wasted so much time in their lives replying to your nonsense.
If you can't move the conversation forward, or end it, then it doesn't leave a lot of good options left.

If you promise not to mock me. I'll end it. I don't have a hoard of gaters waiting outside the walls to DDOS you, so I'd appreciate not being mocked for leaving.

I don't think anyone here even to this point has mocked you directly. We mock the dumb shit you are saying. That's what we do. That's the culture here. It applies to everyone. You toss a ball out there, and we all have bats, so we all take a swing.
Nobody here wants to mock you, hurt you, or otherwise. We just like arguing. That's also how we do. The problem is that you have presented an argument, but are refusing to continue it.
Imagine if I walked in the room and said that the earth was flat. Someone asked me about that, and I refused to explain it. I just went off about how round-earthers kept making fun of me.
If you haven't noticed, we can see right through that shit. We see through everything. We know all the ways. Your only hope is to argue properly. Stay on topic. Make points, and back them up with evidence. Can you do this?
It's really hard to do, especially when you particularly snipe me any time I say something that sounds bad out of context. There are so many of you, and I've limited skills. For it to be fair I'd need a team. It would be easier and more rewarding for me to stop posting, but every time I do I've memes posted about how I'm a failure for leaving.
This is a perpendicular argument. It's not the kind of activism I think I can help in with my limited skill set.

Memes are fun. You should try using them sometime.
In the article it shows the feminist group's logo and it pretty much embodies the mindset of their opponents investing their ego into a "title". You can see why it's upsetting to them and part of me wants to say it should be more accessible to get the misogynists to make baby steps towards progress but another part of me just wants to put a zero tolerance policy on the inner kid we have that wants to get in a box (e.g. gamer) and tie that to "self".

Also, I've asked you this several times over several days. You've had plenty of oppotunities to make your point. Now, you are just being rude.

Actor 1: "Why are you attacking me for my personal beliefs?"
Actor 2: "Then say something, anything to validate them. I am giving you every opportunity here!"

Can I leave without memes or personal attacks after I'm gone?
