I wonder what it would look like for just a single storyline. After all, for every conversation, you have a number of choices of things to say, and then on top of that, you have the responses to each of those, and how they all link together. A>D>C>A>A>A>B>B>D>D>C might produce an identical result to A>D>D>B>B>A>A>A>C>D>C, the conversation requires two similar-but-quite-different scripts.
