  • That's not something I would be bragging about to anyone if one is speaking about their stamina when it comes to sexy rumpus.
What if I make her orgasm in ten seconds flat?

  • Is there anywhere written down Scot's Rules For Question Asking? I want to use them if I get a panel at PAX.
  • I've been doing half an hour on the elliptical every other day to try to increase my cardiovascular strength and possibly not die by age 30.

However, I'm curious if this is the most effective way (sans jogging) to quickly increase my cardiovascular strength and endurance. Would a rowing machine be better? Sprinting? Anyone have any ideas?
  • Running and swimming will do it faster than anything else.

Do endurance running at your optimal heart rate. If you are reasonably fit, do intervals once or twice a week instead.

I might switch to the treadmill then, since that should work it a bit faster, and I might throw some intervals in as well in a couple more weeks.

I was starting from pretty unfit, so I'm gonna try to not make my heart explode either.

I hate treadmills. Gah. One of the things I hate most is the feeling that I am not doing something useful. Treadmills are like that incarnate. Yeah, it's good for me, but it feels like the highest order of useless uses of my time.

In order to get my running done, I run to places. That way, I can justify it to myself by having a short-term goal to fulfill as well. Running in one place for too long drives me absolutely bonkers.

  • I'm gonna bring the iPad and read through the GURPS manual again. I need to read through it in preparation for a game I want to run, so I might as well make running in place a bit more useful.

I hate treadmills as well. I just never feel like I can set a comfortable pace on one... Either it's too fast or too slow for me and my stride just never feels natural. The alternative machines probably work better for me -- either that or just running on the track.
  • Running in place while reading seems... difficult... to me.
  • Is tumblr the internet's new underage porn storage device or am I just so old that everyone under 25 looks like a teenager to me?

When I was a child, the difference between a young 5th grader and an older 5th grader was night and day.

Now, there are really only six age groups I can recognize without effort.

    Baby
    Child
    Punk Kid
    Adult
    Old
    Ancient

  • How common are braces among the 18+ crowd? If I see braces I see jailbait.

With that said I am active on several online dating sites and most girls under 30 look too young to me. I know they are adults but my brain says kid.

I also encounter a lot of older woman who claim to be 40 but look a lot older. I don't know why they lie about that cause when I see an old body with a young age I think "hard life" but if they showed their real age I would not.

I recognize eight, and the last two are "Great Old Ones" and "Outer Gods."

It's always been like that for me. When I was in 7th grade I would look at my friends and think "are you really old enough to go here?"
  • My computer is almost fully back up to speed after installing Windows 7. The only thing I'm missing are my old Firefox bookmarks, which I neglected to export into a separate file before the install. A small loss, emotional damage at best. That said, anyone know where the program itself keeps the bookmarks?

In before "bad backup, you're fucked".
  • Haven't used Firefox in fuck ever, but try the application data or Local settings folder under your user profile folder.
  • Go to the options thing Show All Bookmarks (or ctrl+shift+b) > Import and Backup > Backup gives you a .json file.

A legit CD Key is best.

Otherwise, get the already activated pirate copy from Pirate Bay. Just make sure you run it in a VM, because you can't trust that shit to be virus-free and such.

  • Should I get this 96 Lexus LS400? Its $3K has 200K miles on it and a flat tire.

200k miles means it probably doesn't have much left. I personally would only pay hundreds for such a car, not thousands. Maybe one thousand at most if it definitely worked and had all working parts like air conditioning and any other Lexus luxury features. Heated seats?

Depends on the condition. Have a mechanic check it out and tell you their opinion. If you do not want to do that at least get someone who knows a good deal about cars to look at it before buying. That could be an okay price if the car is in great condition.
