Eh, I like Trigun. It's not the best, it's not deep or intellectual, but I watch it the same way I watch The Expendables - sometimes, I just want to watch something goofy with dudes shooting at each other and blowing shit up.
I'm pretty sure this is Ikuhara's way of fucking with people, but I'm not positive.
Edit: okay, after reading various sources, it's a bit more clear but kind of disappointing. It's all so...blatant; I had hoped I was missing something.

The source of most of my problems as a human being probably comes down to the fact that "sometimes" is "at all times, even when asleep" for me.
In other news, Jojo's and Durarara! are back this weekend! Aaaaand I think everything else happening this season looks like shit. Although if Yuri Kuma's Ikuhara, that's worth a shot.
Edit: Meanwhile, I just went through Terror in Resonance - as usual with Watanabe, it's some good shit.
Watched the first episode of Death Parade, which has already won the Best Anime Opening of 2015 contest.
The episode itself was okay. General first episode stuff of introducing what's going on, and such. The hook is interesting and I definitely want to see where the creators go with it. I'm also looking forward to meeting the rest of the cast.
I keep getting crunchyroll guest passes. From now on I'm just going to post them here. They let you use Crunchyroll as if you were a paid member for 48 hours.
Shirobako: If you are interested on how anime is made, and getting a glimpse of the industry in Japan I would recommend this show. Animation and music is also pretty good. Parasite -Maxim: Best thriller so far, I haven't watch Watanabe's latest show. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Star Crusaders: enough said. Yowamushi Pedal: Best sport shonen of 2014 and it is as strong as before. Akatsuki No Yona: Nice shoujo surprise.

For you and anyone else who might be interested I'd suggest checking out Death Billiard, if you haven't seen yet. It's basically the pilot episode for Death Parade. Same setup, but different game and different players. I preferred Billiard to the first episode as the players didn't know each other, so it was lot more about playing the game and what they did during it rather than talking about past stuff and throwing blame and bickering around.
It seems to be anime season for me. I'm watching way too much stuff.
Out of stuff that started this season I've so far watched Yuri Bears, Durarara!!x2, Death Parade, Jojo, Assassination Classroom and Yoru no Yatterman. Of course season is still young and I might end up dropping some of those if they turn uninteresting.
In addition to that, I stared to rewatch Baccano and then I found out that Monthy Shoujo Nozaki-kun has an anime adaptation, which I had to immediately see of course.
Winter season has been good to me. New JoJo's, Death Parade, Lesbian Bear Storm, Assassination Classroom, Yatterman Night, Durararax2, new Yowapeda, and new Tokyo Ghoul. Plus shows that are continuing straight from Fall: Your Lie in April, Parasyte, and Shirobako. I think this has been the most animes I've watched in a while.
It's been a long time since I've watched Cowboy Bebop. But part of the humor and drama is they are always broke. Cashing in on a bounty is an elusive carrot that they never quite get. It's about the adventure and mayhem they encounter not the reward.

There's not much of an adventure. They just make frequent loops too and from the main ship. And it's always the same deal.
The tone of action remains consistantly the same level. With exception of 1 or 2 episodes where Spike is in an intense fight scene.
Nothing special happens. Ed is my favourite character, mainly because she isn't mellow dramatic about anything.
There hasn't been any satisfying clues that reveal any of the mysteries behind the other charachters. Since they don't seem to have much of a reaction themsevles or in Spike's case he over reacts. I guess because... anger..because...reasons..

Seems very similar to Outlaw Star, which I kind of like more. Despite it's really crappy ending.
Also, getting into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Dug Phantom Blood but I already knew most of the plot. Battle Tendency has me hooked immediately.
This is my favourite part so far.
