My hometown was pretty conservative too, but we saw shit way worse than the Daily Show in high school. They're just retarded.
Wow, I come from a conservative town too and we saw films that were more "sexual" than anything Daily Show could show. Hell, depending on the teacher some got away with movies that had nudity in it for the sake of art. Although, after saying that, I do remember a teacher got fired for being gay so I guess my hometown was not that great in comparison.

As far as I understand, it's not a critique of Christianity itself, but rather the commercialism surrounding it. I don't know a lot about it though, I must admit.
Freedom of speech and freedom of expression are only as valuable as the most atrocious ideas we protect. Destroying any expressive work, no matter how vile it may be, is worse than the work itself.
