So interesting, in fact, that I made sure to get her name, number, and email address. Turns out she works for a movie studio and a lot of big wigs call her when they have computer problems. Normally she can't help, but she just met someone who can. ^_~

I got my awesome Super Mario Star earrings yesterday along with my Japan Relief Bunny key charm yesterday. I saw them on Esty. Also $10 of the proceeds from the Bunny charm goes to the Red Cross for Japan relief. MadAristoocrat has a lot of cute stuff in her store. I want to buy them ALL.
Edit: I'm sad I can't use that charm on my iPhone, but it's probably best that I use it on my DS.
First day at my new job went well, and I got my paycheck from my old job today, and I got a deal at Amazon where the exorbitantly prized first season (including the 3 OVA episodes) of Genshiken, usually € 65, was only half that.

Thanks! When I mentioned this to a few friends who've also had classes with this professor, they were really impressed and told me that this was no small compliment from this particular professor, that he's typically very grounded and honest.

As for my Boo-Yah, went shopping on Friday at another Borders closing down and I got a lot of great deals. I posted them in the Borders thread.
Then went to Half-Price books to see what sort of hidden treasures they had there. Jeremy found Batman: Hush Returns, which is no longer in print and the last one of the Hush series he needed. I then saw they had a 25th Anniversary DSi XL on sale for $120. I bought it. It's barely been used, but didn't have the Mario Kart DS that came with it. It's ok.
It worked out in the long run because Jeremy's DSi L&R; buttons no longer worked, so he traded in his and my DSi for store credit and paid $60 for a new DSi XL. The Game Stop employee didn't check his L&R; buttons. ^___^
So now my old DSi cozy is obsolete. I'll use it to store some knitting things I guess. Now, I get to make a new DSi cozy.
I start my new job in 6 and a half hours. Im so excited I can not sleep! I used to work in a deli. But it was a deli in a large supermarket chain. My new job is still in a deli but a Ma and Pop place. It has been around for 80 years and is "the lunch place" in this richy rich town. It pays 4 dollars an hour more then I was making. And thats just during the training period. After their training is done I will be making 7 dollars an hour more then what I was making. It has health and dental after 6 months and a 401k. After a year I get 2 weeks paid vacation. I also have plans for this place. They have a website, but nothing on FB or Twitter. After Im there for a couple weeks Im going to ask the owner if I can make their twitter acount and FB page to annouce the Daily Specials and offer special deals and such! I cant wait to start work!
