Already figured that out, but yeah, that's the way it's done.
I think I'll stick with the regular ipod function to play my podcasts, though. Other than a pretty UI with the reel to reel gig, it doesn't provide enough extra function to switch over yet.
You can still use the normal iPod app to play them, it's just nice to have the Podcast app set up to automatically download and manage them.
I might use it when I'm away from my computer for extended periods of time, such as when I'm up at the island, but it's not an issue here. That, and I have capped mobile data, so I don't want to be downloading podcasts when I'm just hanging out in the city, or something.
Also, I listen to a pretty large amount of podcasts, so generally, I'll just bulk update from my computer instead, it's easier and faster.
Discovered that Portal 2 and the Alien Breed Trilogy (on Steam) both run at perfectly acceptable framerates on my "stock" i3 budget laptop. That's awesome.
Found out a co-worker used to work at Verizon and had an unused Droid 2 lying around. Yeah, slightly 2010, but a lot better than what I was using!
And the Pi was accomplished by placing the order 4 minutes after receiving the invitation e-mail. Unfortunately, I can't actually use it yet - I'm moving my monitor from my old apartment on Sunday.
I drooled over Mazdas for a long time before settling on a Honda in 2010. I don't think they had those MPG figures then.
They did not. This is the first year with the better engine. I'm moving next month and that'll add about 26 miles on to my daily commute. It's in my best interest to get a car that's more fuel efficient.
