I tried to play though some of the side quests today but most of them are boring. Yet I still have a desire to play. Might go back to it just to beat up some thugs on challenge mode.
Do you just like the game or are you a fan of the comics?
I've never read any of the Batman comics. Do you get more out of the side quests if you have some knowledge of the world?
Sidequests are pretty balls, especially the Riddler, though that's mostly due to the work to payoff ratio.
Which makes it disingenuous for them to claim the game has sixty hours of content. I'm not unhappy, but why make that a thing when the extra content is so inferior to the main game?
EDIT: Callsign is HeadlessClown88 for future reference; it's the same as my Live tag (which I haven't used in ages). I'll probably change my Steam name to match, too.

There are 2 side quests that are pointed pretty hard at fans of the comics, as wells as may be hints at what happens in the next game. They also show how different the in game universe is from the comic universe, well pre-new 52 universe, but that is also only something a fan of the comics would notice.
It has taken 2 years but Minecraft has finally become enough of a game to have taken hold of me.
It was a weird feeling walking through the Obsidian Nether Portal I built in my bedroom, slaughtering a tribe of pig-zombies, looking up into the sky at the glowstone formations and thinking "aw shit, I'm going to make such a fucking LOVELY lamp out out that".
I do, however, find it extremely likely that I will stop playing it immediately after killing the Enderdragon.
Really? Killer Croc? All you have to do is crouch and throw a quick-batarang every time you see him... What were you guys having difficulty with?
I cannot remember what mine was, maybe I did not figure the quick-batarang part right away, all I remember is getting extra annoyed with it. I will have to play it again to remember as I played it not long after release and have since played the sequel so my memory of the original is a bit hazy.
My quick-batarang wouldn't always listen because I'd pull the trigger too hard, resulting in insta-death. I also accidentally ran off the edge a few times, or went the wrong way. In one instance, while running from exploding floating floor panels, I took a wrong turn and needed to horizontal-zip-line back to the right path. Croc literally sprang up as I was about to reach the ledge and BOOM, insta-death. There was much fury.
But it doesn't matter now, since Mass Effect 3 will eat my soul for a while. It looks and plays as well as ME2, and the Kinect option for conversations and commands is an amusing addition. The multiplayer is enjoyable too. It's a simple co-op vs. waves of enemies with a few "run here and activate/deactivate a maguffin" objectives thrown in for kicks. It can get pretty hairy around wave 8 or so when giant horrible enemies come at you. If you haven't played any in the series, I can't recommend it highly enough. You can get ME used for around fifteen bucks, and ME2 for around 25.
Also, the multiplayer affects your Main Game. You can still get a perfect ending without building up in the multiplayer, but it's about three or four times as difficult.

Yeah, I read about that on RockPaperShotgun. It seems odd to me, but will probably make me play the multiplayer.

I still don't understand why they decided to release it during GDC.
