Thrift Shop isn't the best song on that album, but it's my favorite.
Was at a party last night and this song came on, I'd heard it before, thought it was really catchy; had no idea it was about wanting to bone so hard you could die until a Venezuelan guy (it's close enough to Spanish) explained it to me.
Brandon Bolmer, who had taken Craig Owens' place in Chiodos for an album, started a solo career as a producer and is making some seemingly Skrillex inspired electronica. It's not as spastically bass intensive as Skrillex is and it's a little more mellow but is primarily sample based. I didn't much care for it at first but then I went back to it and I'm actually really digging it.
One my my best friends in the world is now putting out music under the name "Dread Cell". Kind of Kelpacki-inspired industrial, I swear to god it sounds like lost tracks from the Tiberian Sun soundtrack.
Hoooly shit dude, I don't think anything would've prepared me for that. I wish the crowd was larger, but they were fucking great. Tiny room of ~30 guys all screaming and jumping to their special brand of punk/chiptune/whateverthefuck.

Hell yes dude. They're one of my favorites. Amazingly sweet people too. My friends and I always stay after their shows to talk to them and it usually ends in a group hug.
Maan, after every Rochester Chip show, I get on this massive underground chip thing. It's awesome.
Revengineers - Earth That Was
BC Likes You - Sophia the 3rd
Kris Keyser - Fight Sequencer
There, no embeds. Now go have your ears pleasured - you're welcome.
I am still cool, I have albums for 2/3 bands mentioned in your list. Now if you were to come down to an 8static event let me know, that is in my neck of the woods.
Don't have the name of the albums off the top of my head but...Kris Keyser and Revengineers are the two. I bought EVERY CD Boston 8 Bit had last year at PAX. EVERY. ONE.
