Lots of Born in the USA lately. Not sure why. Working on a Highway is my second favorite track (behind No Surrender) because it's all pop-y and Born in the USA-y, but it was written for Nebraska and has those Nebraska lyrics.
I went to Ireland this summer and met my uncle for the first time while I was there. He was playing in a pub with some buddies. He saw me singing along to it and asked me afterwards how I even knew that song.
As for things I've been listening to, I found out about the Telluride Bluegrass Festival last week, and I downloaded tapes of every show at the most recent one. Aside from the Tibetan monks, I could not be happier.
Is it weird that I've been listening to a lot of Bob Seger recently? Other than that, I've been listening to Kraftklub (they sing in german, so I'm not sure how you guys can cope with that) and after hearing it sung by Paul during Desert Bus for Hope, I absolutely fell in love with "Northwest Passage" by Stan Rogers.
Been in a sea shanty mood lately. Edit: Also noticed that a post I previously put on here seems to not be present. Guess the filter caught it or something.

Just found out about Gotan Project, they're pretty good.
Experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Biting my thumb if I get pissed off and unnecessarily forcing myself to eat bread are among them.

Does Crayon Pop still not owe Momoiro Clover Z credit?

This is what happens when I can't go to sleep and I go to work at 4 am and there is no one in the highway.

Just because...
Mega Ran's A Very Random Christmas. It was part of the Nobuwo Winter Indie Bundle Kickstarter.
Pretty good stuff.
