    That's awesome.
To paraphrase spider, Sometimes being a good person isn't not committing crimes, it's about committing really good crimes. And yeah, I don't give a toss discussing it in public, because I'm perfectly happy to go cold to do what I can to help these people out. I can't give blood, I'm too poor to donate money(I did anyway, so I've now got an additional two of those ratpacks on my table, because I can't afford groceries after my rent goes through), so I'll donate my skills and whatever else I can scrounge.

Sure, I'm a big white dude, but as has been said over and over again lately - Right now, we are all Japanese. Knocked down seven times, stand up eight. Get in there, people. Do what you can, even if it seems like fuck all, it makes a difference.

  • I caught Kyurem and named it Gramm.

  • I guess those army rations just got..

    .. volunteered.
  • Fun Fact: Lou Gramm is a Rochesterian.

A fact that I enjoy immensely as a native Rochesterian. w00t.

You could even say they're doing a great...service.

The way you transfer Pokemon from other games besides Black and White is with a mini-game in which you fire Pokeballs out of a crossbow at the transferred Pokemon.

    Yeah, do tell.

Still waiting to get the game. :) So, not far.

I stalled out in front of the 7th gym and just haven't really picked up the game since. I will at some point, I'm really enjoying this particular generation.

I'm on Victory Road, and realizing I definitely need to train hard.

  • I beat it a few days ago. This gen has much higher level content after you finish the main story. Much training will be needed.

Haven't started it yet. I just got back home on my Spring break about 2 days ago and I've been busy doing bullshit. I'll start it today or tomorrow. The NES and SNES I got on Craigslist 2 weeks ago have been occupying a lot of my time.

That's awesome to hear. More than HG/SS? I feel like that game had a LOT to do after the main story, too. Or maybe it just felt a lot longer to me cause of 16 gyms...

Beat it last night too. I was very pleased with how they finally decided to divert from the usual formula, if only for the last hour or so.

All the trainers in the areas you unlock have level 60+ pokemon. Stupid Lapras not being weak to fire. At least it's an excuse to level up Heavy Metal Zebra more. Cynthia's back again too with level ~75 monsters too.
  • I have a Lvl25 Sawk named Kenshiro and am looking for a Throh to name Raoh.

I finally got Black configured for Wi-Fi and I stopped my Nuzlocke run, so I'm up for tradan and battlan.

  • Currently grinding for the E4, the most un-fun part of any pokemon game. I'm not gonna do it too much.

My team has a gigantic flying-type weakness, but I don't care enough to change it. I love fightin' types.

This game makes it so much easier, just slap a Lucky Egg on the Pokemon you're currently trying to level up and then run around outside some tall grass until it starts shaking. Then head on in there, beat up the Audino that shows up, and get your huge experience reward!

There are a fuck-ton of fighting types this generation. It's kinda crazy, but some of them are pretty cool...like Scrafty!
  • I currently have three badges, and will be training my team to get the fourth today.

  • Sooooooo, is there any one else but me who has beaten the post storyline Elite Four?

    Sawk&Throh; FTW.

I haven't, but I'm about ready to battle online!
  • I beat the main story last night, and I've spent a fair bit of today exploring some post-game events. As it stands now, my team is

    Lv. 55 Samurott (Mako)
    Lv. 54 Conkeldurr (Jayne)
    Lv. 52 Gigalith (Crag)
Lv. 54 Darmanitan (no nickname, got it in a trade)
    Lv. 54 Eelektross (Gauss)
    Lv. 54 Haxorus (Dr. Hax)

This game has been a ton of fun, and I'm really loving the post-game training with the high level trainers with old Pokemon. I am looking to make at least one swap, though, as my entire team is comprised of physical attackers by accident. Probably going to swap Gigalith for... something. Not sure what yet, but I need a good special attacker.
  • It has begun. I spent the last four hours hatching Drilbur eggs. I've got the nature I want and pretty good IVs, but I don't think I care enough to go all the way with it. Regardless, the survivor shall be named Simon.
  • I wish I could just transfer over my breeding stable without having to play a minigame.
