I was actually singing the Penis song from Monty Python's the Meaning of Life while I was trying to figure out an alternative. Richard is a damn fine alternative, but it was not in the song so I didn't think about it.

I've done some Entralink stuff with my brother and it's all right. The missions are all really simple, small stuff, but you can use the Pass Power rewards to boost your experience gain for a few minutes, which is nice.

I really want to do it so I can get more people to go to my Black City so more of the evolutionary stones will be available for purchase. I need Water and Fire stones! I only need 41 more Pokemon and I will have them ALL.
So, pokemon people, explain this to me: is there or isn't there every pokemon in this game? I only ask because sail said earlier that he didn't think there were any electric bird pokemon in the game, yet I very vividly remember a pokemon by the name of Zapdos.

Through Black and White alone, no, you can't catch all 600-some Pokemon. Zapdos, for example, you need to transfer up from a fourth generation game (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver). Between the two new ones, you CAN catch all of the new Pokemon, and a fair number of older ones (including some pretty rare ones that never used to be seen in the wild, like Dragonite and Metagross). But if you have the older games (enough of the old games... and some distribution Pokemon, so luck), then it is entirely possible to get each and every Pokemon.
Has anyone caught 600?! I couldn't even manage 150 back in the Blue and Silver era.
I don't think I ever actually caught all the original 150 at the same time, but I did actually complete the Pokedex in my copy of Pokemon Red at one point.
I'm sure people have by now, but I have no intention of even trying. I caught 150 with lots of help from friends back in Blue, and that was enough for me. I've halfway considered trying for the 250 in Soul Silver (since I have so many back versions to draw from, plus they seem to have made it easier), and also for the 150 in Black (a bunch of friends to trade with, plus just through beating the main game I got up to almost 80). This wouldn't be something I actively work towards, mind, just mainly as a time killer when I've got a few minutes and my DS on hand.
It took me about half a year of casual playing to catch all 493 pokemon in Soul Silver, and that was after the hefty head-start I'd already gotten from playing through the game and sending over old pokemon from Diamond. It probably wouldn't be too hard to get all of them in Black, if I just send a bunch over from SS.
After I beat the main storyline and traveled the rest of the Unova map, I'm finding that I'm running out of things to do. Black City is a ghost town, seeing as I didn't beat the game within 10 days or whatever the stipulation was. I'm looking forward to doing more online stuff, but suddenly I've become a bit more bored with Black than I thought I would.
Pokemon Global Link opens up tomorrow, just thought some of you guys would like to know.
Also, my current team as of right now is: Ozzy the Oshawott Dio the Blitzle Townsend the Deerling Kursch the Litwick Halford the Rufflet Dickinson the Deino
and introducing: Mustaine the Klink Sanders the Golett Ann the Lilligant Meatloaf the Scraggy Baizley the Venipede
I'm doing EV training and just decided to switch Pokemon in and out to keep my team as versatile as possible.
From what I understand there's a bunch of 5th-Gen Pokemon you can't get from the Dream World because they don't have HG/SS-style overworld sprites. Which kind of sucks since I'd really like to get some of the Gen 5 Pokemon's Dream World abilities.

Once again, I feel like all of that is coming. Nintendo wouldn't put in the extra work to put something into the game that no one would be able to access.
Well, I went into the Dream World and got a Lickitung with the Cloud Nine ability. This is so awesome!
It's such a great way to kill time, and actually benefit in-game. I can't wait to evolve him into a Lickilicky and negate all of those crazy weather effects.

Man, I really want this game.
EDIT: So I thought Entralink was an online thing. Turns out I was wrong, and that disappoints me.
