F.E.A.R. Collection includes 1, 2, and expansions total of $10. I've been hankering for some single player fps.
It's not a bad game, a little weird at times, but not bad. I liked it better than amnesia, which had a nice and lovecraft-y story coupled with clever mechanics, but just got a bit boring after a while, and didn't deliver on the scares as promised. It's they're big fans of cheap scare tricks, but at least F.E.A.R gave a tickle, since it goes more for engaging the reactionary lizard-y part of the brain that jumps before it thinks.
The horror parts are secondary. The AI of the soldiers you fight is the main attraction. If you liked the marines in Half-Life then you'll like FEAR
I played the demo of the first one a long time ago. I'm just looking to shoot some dudes during breaks between working on stuff. Someone gifted me Metro 2033 awhile ago, and I tried to pick it up again this morning. The weapons are very unsatisfying, the level designs are not so great, and even the plot is meh. I might keep playing it, but only because F.E.A.R. is still downloading.
I'm not talking about Origin, I'm talking about the site that links to. It says you are buying a CD key from EA's Origin, but that price isn't offered at Origin.
Blabbity, blabbity, blah, I am tired, but just so you know, for the next week Europa Universalis 3: Chronicles is available on GamersGate for less than the price of one of the expansions on Steam, if you're into numbers and such, that $7.43 for the base game and all 4 current expansions. Also don't worry that it won't be complete if you don't purchase EU3: Complete (Which is the base game and only 2 expansions). Due to the price this is the most opportune time to jump in on this if you have not already experienced the Europa Universalis phenomenon, or if you've wanted to upgrade to Divine Wind for a while now. Enjoy the historical simulator action now and benefit from the large and thriving mod community that surrounds the game. Don't forget to register your game on the paradox forums, so that you can get patches in advance as well as their excellent tech support. Also, shoot me a an IM if you want to try multiplayer. Shill, shill, shill, I'm going to bed, see you tomorrow.
Never having heard of this website, and considering how good that deal is, I'm very skeptical. I have the feeling it is a scam.
They're quite new, and eager to get a foothold in the market. If I can find it again, they state they take small profits to be competitive. (found it) With 219 Twitter followers so far, and a huge wall of happy facebook comments I'd say it's a long shot to call it illegitimate.
For what it's worth, I used to think the same way too but I've had no issues whatsoever with my past purchases from them and their customer service goes above and beyond.
Really? I find it to be a better version of TF2, much better balance, and much more interesting gameplay.
Last time I played that game, the Assassin / Ninja class was crazy, it took me two rounds to work out how to make her into a money machine. Way too overpowered and by the end of the free trial virtually every server was full of the ninja class or had banned it.
Good Old Games is having an insane sale through July 4th. 50% off all of the Interplay titles in their library get Freespace and Freespace 2 if you have even the slightest interest in space combat sims. There's other great games in the promo but I've not played them or only played a very small bit so I don't want to say "buy this" without more experience.

90 bucks for the whole set is a steal. Fallout 1+2, Earthworm Jim, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, ALL of Descent - I'd easily pay $10 for each of these. I've made it my mission to slowly buy up everything that GOG offers - I'm already a quarter of the way there. (It also turns out, you can't just add all ~300 game GOG sells to your cart and check out - Their server times out while trying to check you out)
No. No! No! STEAM! How could you! I need that money for AX! You better not be price dropping Dirt3 or I swear to god....
DON'T YOU SAY THAT! If they don't discount Dirt 3, I'll use my ax money to buy an ax and HUNT YOU DOWN WITH MY AX BECAUSE YOU SOMEHOW INFLUENCED THEIR DECISION TO NOT DISCOUNT DIRT 3.

GABE NEWELL IS TEARING THIS FAMILY APART
I willing to act as a mediator, for a small fee. Mostly, so that I can afford to buy Dirt 3 if they don't discount it, which they bloody well better.
You know, I honestly can't think of any game I don't have right this second that I really want on Steam. Between Fallout: New Vegas, TF2, and Mass Effect alone, I have little time for new games.

I think this might be the part where I say "oh mans."
Or not! As if it wasn't cheap enough already, you can get a further discount if you "like" them on Facebook.

Hopefully its not a scam, going to go get some pre-orders now.
