Our household income.is over 150k, but it feels like less each year.
Yeah, my wife's salary is almost entirely eaten by student loans. It sucks. Ah well, we are also young. I have a lot of time to make more money, and realistically I make more than I can spend anyway.
Medical bills, poor decisions, and other emergencies have put us pretty deep in credit card debt, but it's not the worst thing ever, it just holds us back.
I'm far more concerned about rising gas and food prices. And the fact that my teen needs orthodonture and I have no idea where that money is coming from.
Look for "Olsen, Peter." They screwed up the Agency entry for two of the years. You can see my salary history since 2008. 2012 isn't done yet, so that information isn't in yet; my current pay rate is $54,790.
Compared to people of similar experience and qualifications, I'm considered underpayed in this industry... I'm surrounded at all sides by people who make substantially more than I do.
Also, if I were a dick, I could probably leave where I'm at (a company I actually care about!) and clear an extra 50-60k with some big bank or hedge fund.
:P Also notice that our rates have been frozen since 2010 so you can imagine how happy I am about that.
Edit: What others have said. I currently am living comfortable, but have to budget even more because my partner is currently looking for steady work. I'm still sitting pretty and am currently looking for advancement opportunities.

So, in short: fuck you, Rym.
Wow.

Look at Rym? Does this look like a man whose money buys him happiness?
That's the first Rym I found in GIS.
