The fact that this episode's song is the way it is is great since my CTVA final paper (which I submitted yesterday) was all about the use of diegetic and non-diegetic sound in the show, with a BIG section on how the songs in the show are a big throwback/homage to Hollywood musicals and musical theater.
Am I mistaken or is this the first song in which Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash had lead parts? (Well, other than Flutterguy singing for Pinkie in the Zekora episode)
Well, Fluttershy had "So Many Wonders" last season, but I don't recall RD having the lead in any songs so far.

Edit: Linkigi got there first.
You have no idea how many people on the "Love is Magic" team got pissed at me when I "spoiled it" for them.
Not sure if this has been posted here before but even if it has, it's worth posting again.
The drawings are super adorable, though. I just want to give baby Luna a hug.
It's not only that he(?) perfectly emulated the openings of both Outlaw Star and One Piece, he got the fonts for the credits perfect too.
Fuck, I admit defeat.
Edit: Make that Naruto too:
