Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere is having fun. Pinkie-Pie-ism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere is having fun, and you're missing out.
Also, in the barn raising scene we see Apple Fritter, who appeared in the very first episode as part of the Apple family. But then we see a different pony with a similar hairstyle but a different color scheme and cutie mark int he foreground when Pinkie Pie leaves (probably this one), only to be replaced again by Apple Fritter in the scene where the rest of the Pinkies leave.
No, I was referring to Luffy's technique of biting into his thumb and pumping air into his bones (which are elastic, since he is a rubber-man and all) to blow them up to gigantic size. One of the Pinkies does something similar in this episode, blowing air into her hoof to make another grow fingers.
That was a very good episode, full of good gags and solid worldbuilding. Easily the best episode that Polsky has written, if only because it avoided most of the problems of the first two. Twilight zapping clones for a single attention drop was pretty harsh, though. That could have used a few more sentences of explanation. And what was up with that secret panel where Spike found the book?
Oo, hadn't considered the possibility of it being a mirror world from that point. Could be kind of like The Prestige, where
you aren't sure if the clone is the one in the box or the prestige (I.e.: if the machine creates a clone and sends it, or sends the original and leaves a clone in his place.
Argh, I'm just not enjoying the new episodes as much as I used to. Am I just getting jaded? It's weird, because I still enjoying looking through the fan stuff, and want to get around to writing a fanfic if I can find the self-discipline, but the episodes are almost starting to bore me.

5 minutes of lessons from Pinkie Pie later...
(Scrub to 6:40 if the timestamp'd embed doesn't work)
