Not sure if this was posted. I checked the pages around the date it was released and didn't see it there. This was linked by an old high school mate and it made me so happy to know he is also a Brony.
--image-- well this is a bit of a more immediate solution.
That is an excellent piece. That author, however, based on a quick googling, appears to draw pony porn in quantity. ;^)
Yes. And he appears to have a white knight on DeviantArt, some fuckwad who thinks no one is allowed to be critical on the internet. I told him off though.
Considering Trixie is justas sore a winner as she was in season 1 (I.E., she BANS Twilight from Ponyville) I'dsay the lesson of being a gracious loser is kinda redundant.
Odd: checking the Zap2it TV listings for the episode, all the other times the episode is shown it's half an hour. Maybe they're just showing it twice in a row.
The plot descriptions of the next two episodes honestly have me worried about the direction of the show. One is just like, giving focus to an unlikeable character and the other feels like it could easily drop continuity.
I'm hoping the Trixie episode is going to make her much more sympathetic, as well as having awesome magic shenanigans. One can but hope though. This Saturday's episode is CMC and thus may be grating.
Hmm, why do you think the Trixie episode is going to drop continuity? All we have so far on Trixie is that she's arrogant, she had her career wrecked, and she somehow comes back more powerful. And it's pretty clear McCarthy (the new story editor) is trying to build a bit of a plot arc. Although it's possible to make this plot so cheesy it ruins the show, I think there's a much better prospect of it extending the show's life.
As for the CMC bullying episode, I'm setting my bar as low as possible. Hopefully they can find something fresh to do with the topic.
A bunch of you people have been claiming shark jumpage for almost every episode since season 2 started. The beach is still safe.
I'm not calling Shark Jumpage, but I am being cautious for what could happen. And Too Many Pinkies is generally a really great episode, so I'll still reserve judgement for when the new episodes come.

It's primarily the "banishment from ponyville" statement. For what ever reason would Twilight get kicked out of her home? I hope it's just something like, Twilight makes a bet in the heat of the moment, but it's also a case where the writers could easily make the background ponies jerks/idiots to actually not allow Twilight to live there anymore.
I've enjoyed some CMC episodes with The Cutie Pox and Ponyville Confidential, but with that immediate type of plot description, I'm like "Aww hell..." Primarily because, the bully is likely going to be another Diamond Tiara-like one-shot who will be focused on the whole episode to come to the moral "being bullied is bad and being a bully is bad." No duh. I do believe it could told in a fresh way, but I'm not holding my breath.

Ah, Viga, next time he's having audio problems, just email it to me and I'll make it better. Fixing that video's audio would have taken me, like, 5 minutes.

FYI, this is season 3 episode 5, return of Trixie.

Sadly I doubt it will teach the lesson of being a good sport about losing.
