  • This is no Silent Hill, but points for effort.
  • So, Elder Scrolls Wiki tells me that there are a ton of followers you can bring with you as you quest. Who are your favorite questing companions, and why?
  • None of them. They're all horrible and get in the way of sneaky-stabby.
  • Lydia is pretty good in the early game, if only because she is real tough and can soak hits that would kill you. You will outgrow her right quick though, at which point Mjoll the lioness is her natural replacement, being just as tough but with better stats.

If you are sneaky then grab the dark brotherhood initiate (if you joined them), due to a bug he cannot be killed, is super sneaky, and damn good with a blade.
  • Wait, scratch that. The dog is the best because invincible tank.
  • I want an amazing lady bard like this to call my own.

They have it from all that slouching.

NOTE: I am not a doctor, this isn't medical advice, and that's not how diseases work.

  • Jeremy wants to play but is undecided about getting on Xbox or PC. I know most people here are all about the PC, but he thinks the Xbox may be better because he wouldn't mind playing it on the couch with the big screen.

I told him that he may like using the interface better on the PC since he's so used to WoW, but I don't have enough evidence to support my claim. Anyone care to give any useful thoughts?
  • I highly recommend Skyrim for the PC because:
    • Mods.
    • The game is buggy. Not unplayable-buggy, but it happens sometimes. The other day, the game locked me out of a quest-critical area (part of the Thieves Guild) for no apparent reason, and the only way to get inside was to use the developer's console to teleport into the room. You can't do that for the PC.
  • You can't do that for the Xbox.
You can play the PC version with a 360 controller quite easily, so you could just hook a PC up to your TV and play it that way. In this case, PC is more flexible.
  • Oops, yeah that was a typo. My bad!
  • Oops, yeah that was a brain fart. My bad!
I can do this all day. =P
  • I got it for the Xbox, because my computer is exactly powerful enough to play it, except for the shitty Intel video card that it came with.
  • For those on the computer, what mods have you installed?

  • What is the best town/city to buy health potions ya think?
  • I got rid of the cape on the Nightingale armor.
  • I've found the best Skyrim mod ever made.
  • Everyone knows the best Skyrim mod is this one:
  • I played/beat the game on 360 and haven't played much of Skyrim on the PC (although I do have the legendary edition), but seeing some of the crazy mods makes me want to play again.
