Tried Just Cause 2 again, played for an hour before, as I jumped into a car to escape, a helicopter came into range, exploding the car I was in, then following my corpse and blowing up the car right next to it. From mostly full health to dead in less than a second.
Oh yeah, I've had my eye on that for a bit. It seems pretty entertaining. It's technically already out, you can buy it from their site, but I'm holding off till it's on steam, at least for now.
About damn time, back breaker was an awesome football game and deserves a second chance.
It only lost it with the NCAA. It still owns a monopoly on NFL football (and lesser leagues like the Arena league).
It's still the best hope we have for another 2K football game, which I am all about. Backbreaker was fun in its way but it was released by a small studio who I think has moved on entirely to phone games. 2K and Visual Concepts have the money behind them to take an NCAA license and do something cool with it, even if it doesn't hit super big the first time.
Depends on how you define "workaround." EA before had an exclusive contract. This contract is non-exclusive. Basically, they can still make college football games, but now so can anyone else that can finagle their way to getting a license. This differs from before when EA's license stipulated that no one else can get a license.
