I had about ten baby eevees in my Silver game. They all had rhyming names, too ...I think I'll continue with it in Diamond. :B
So, you don't see any starters from previous games in D/P? That sucks so hardcore. God dammit. Does that mean I pretty much HAVE to get FR/LG/RSE? Which I'll have to restart twice to get all the legendary dogs and attend at least two Nintendo events - which happen once in a blue moon around here - to get Deoxys, Lugia and Ho-oh? Far out. Not to mention Pokemon Ranger for Manaphy. I get the feeling I won't be completing MY pokedoex.
We can trade them to you via Wi-Fi.
As I travel across more and more of the Sinnoh region I am finding that the trainers do have most of the "missing" Pokemon.

Mmmmkay. So it'll just be a fair bit further into the game before I can see starters from previous games. I can deal with that. Then I'll be able to trade with people! Yay!
Can we actually go to any of the other regions this time around? Kanto, Johto, etc? Going back to Kanto was one of the best parts of the second generation games...
Speaking of Wifi, has anyone got/used a Datel WIFI Max thingy before? The one I bought arrived just today and I've been fiddling with it for a while but still getting "limited or no connectivity". :< I pretty much bought it purely so that I could get online to play Pogeymans. XD I'm such a poke-nerd. >_> Anyway, yeah, I'm running into problems because I want to set up a wireless network and have a non-wireless LAN at the same time (keeps trying to use the same IP address)? I'unno. I'll probably end up asking awesome computer friends for what I suspect will be a really simple solution. Google is being no help at all thus far.
You were in a bit of a bind because your electric guy had to do double duty to take out my Psychic and Water Pokemon. You were able to knock out one of them but not both. You might want to catch a Ghost Pokemon as soon as you can.
In double battles you might want to begin with a Flying and a Ground type. The Ground type can then use Earthquake/Magnitude without hurting your flyer.
There are some rare evolution stones in the game. Some you can get by mining in the underground and three others you can only find in Pokeballs or acquire via Pick-up power with a high-level Pokemon.
Right now my Linnone is level 58 and I just found a Shiny Stone!!!
Pokerus appears to be very common in Diamond/Pearl.
Pardon my ignorance but what is Pokerus?
BTW... I just added a bunch of you guys to my pal book, add me people!! (and let me know) Please I really want to squeze the value of these game, and I could use some real human vs human battles for practice, although all of you would probaly kick my ass, I'm still under level 20 just starting the game.
I just added a great heaping pile of people. Add me back, guys! (4210 0630 8804). I'm still super low level but once I get up to the daycare center I am total in on this breeding thing we're gonna have going. I'll probably breed Eevees/starters/non-wild-babies depending on what people seem to need later.

I have added everyone in the DS code thread so far. I have battled against two other forum members and done some trading.
The only problem I see with breeding is the lack of adequate storage space in the box system on the cartridge. I really need a Pokemon Box for the Wii!
I have a few Pokemon articles on my site that you might find useful. I'll be adding more as time goes by.
I hate to revive the Pokemon thread after it is dead, but I just have to brag.
This morning I got the final gym badge. All I have to do now is beat the elite four, and then complete the Pokedex to get the pal park. I need to see less then 30 more Pokemon to do the Pokedex, so it should be easy.
Anyway, that's not what I want to brag about. Yesterday, before getting the final gym badge, I was at the part of the game where I encountered Dialga. Dialga is the Pokemon that's on the box of Pokemon Diamond. When I encountered it, I assumed I would have to use the master ball to get it. Well, not so! I got it right away with the quick ball. Didn't have to fight it, or resist any of its attacks. Either way, if I had to fight it, I would have used the timer ball to avoid using the master ball.
Now, If you said it was shiny AND you caught it in in a Quick Ball that would have been some serious bragging rights!
So, what level are your Pokemons now? If they are less than level 50 at this point I suggest you buy a shit-ton of revives and full heals. Victory Road is just over flowing with Pokemon. Not too mention the Elite 4!
I made it through the Elite four with Pokemon that were between level 40 and 50 (mostly low 40's) with a large supply of Revives and hyper potions. If you still have it, Roselia with Toxic Spikes will make the Elite four much easier for you.

Yeah, I'm just that awesome.
Not really that big of a deal. I used a timer ball after going through several dusk balls -_- Stationary legendaries are quite easy to catch without the use of a master ball. I ended up using mine on Mesprit due to the fact that you only get one turn before it runs away and you have to go find it again (which is a total bitch). Come tell me that you caught Mesprit with a quick ball and then I will be impressed.

No, you can't go to the other regions.
I put $5 down to reserve a copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution yesterday

Which is weird because Tauros are always male. They must keep a stable of Ditto arround or something...
