Why would anyone watch any form of pornography ever? Different strokes for different blokes. Besides, isn't Night Shift Nurses just nurses having sex? Maybe with a few tentacles here and there since it is Japanese.
Why would you ever tell anybody that you watched that?
So I started watching Chobits.. I don't know if I will regret this. Is Chi supposed to look like an 11 year old girl??
Avoid it.
I watched one episode of that show and as soon as I found out that her on/off switch was in her cooch, that was it. I was done. I had gotten everything I ever would have gotten out of that show.
Trigun has never appealed to me, but I've bowed to family pressures and am finally making a commitment to watch it. I watched the first two episodes last night (I'd only just seen ep 1 before), and I'm hoping that eventually I'll understand what the big deal is. Spoiler tag: Mostly, I'm just looking forward to the part where we find out he's a plant. In whatever way that's meaningful.
What do you mean? Trigun ended at episode 23. It did very poorly in Japan, so advertisers pulled out and they couldn't get funding to finish the season. It's also the reason it took them a decade to release the movie.
I've only seen the first episode, but it really grabbed me; essentially, A-Team+psychic powers set in Pre-WW2 China. Sketchy political things aside, it was really entertaining. No idea if the rest of the show is as fun though.
I heard that it was also good in that it didn't condone Japanese colonialism very much, and actually took a harsh view on that kind of imperialist behavior. Also, 1920's-30's setting gives it plus in my book already.
I believe she succeeded, and that success looked different than expected because the playing field was not as it appeared. Trick of the light and all. Utena made it possible for Anthy to leave Ohtori, evidence that she had been rescued and set free by her prince.
I never knew their was a Starship Troopers anime and I'm not talking about the CGI one from after the movie was released. I've only watched the first episode so far but it looks to be more true to the book than the movie ever was.

I have seen that first episode as well. It is much more true to the book, but that doesn't mean it's good.
Here is my new anime schedule. Re-watch all of Cowboy Bebop on DVD and enjoy the big screen goodness, then re-watch Neon Genesis Evangelion for the third time. After that, I will watch the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie for the second time, then the 1.1 and other repeat movies for the first time. After all of that, I will proceed to watch every single Miyazaki film out there with my little brother, then to some Hitoshi Kon for the first time ever! When that is all done, I might re-watch Madoka Magica after all of that, if I don't become distracted.
By the Neon Genesis Evangelion movie do you mean "End of Eva" or is there a movie I do not know about?
I always forget. There are two different "end of eva" movies. The good one is the one that is just two episodes. "Air" and "A Pure Heart for You". The other one you can just ignore.
Also, there are the new eva movies which I'm ignoring until all of them are done.

Ya, I meant the one that is a remake of the last two episodes. I didn't know there was another 'End of Eva' movie other than that to. In addition, for the new Eva movies, the only reason I know about them is because this Otaku that seriously smelled started to bombard me with his Eva stuff because he overheard me talking about it with my friends at this Gantz movie.
I'm not really watching anything new lately, but I'm currently rewatching History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. I'm glad the fanservice in the anime series is way more subdued than in the manga.
Finished up Blue Exorcist a few nights ago. The finale wrapped up things up quite nicely. I also caught the first episode of Ben-to. High school kid end up joining a club that literally fights for half off deals on bento meals. It's definitely a one trick pony but I'm still curious enough to a watch a few more episodes.
Sat down today and started watching Fate/Zero. I thought it was pretty awesome, if a bit confusing because it's a prequel to a series I don't know much about. It's something to watch this season. This will be the second series of anime spawned off visual novel games that I thought was pretty good.

I just looked it up and that's not Chobits. Nevermind.
