Got myself the Lynyrd Skynyrd DLC pack which was released in late November. Tuesday's Gone and Sweet Home Alabama are both eternally long and wrist-breakingly hard on Guitar. Can't beat Alabama without using Overdrive in the late solo. :X
Also almost FCed Simple Man, which is not in the pack but was released earlier as a single. Only made a retarded mistake which I shouldn't have and normally wouldn't have. Song's still eternally long and so sad that I usually have a hard time keeping my concentration.
Anyway, besides TG and SHA, the other two songs in the pack are Saturday Night Special and What's your number. In my opinion definitely something to pick up.
Lynyrd Skynyrd to me is really solid on Keys. Tuesday's Gone being one of the best songs to play around and Sweet Home Alabama and What's Your Name offering great challenge. Oddly enough though, I haven't played SHA on Guitar yet. XD I really should get around for that. Also, Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney was a great song to buy.
Also good news to all people, RBN 2.0 has officially started production, meaning that it will include five-lane instruments from Rock Band 3 (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keys), as well as Harmonies, Pro Drums, and Pro Keys. Considering how fast songs come out in RBN, along with promises of songs from video games like Super Meat Boy, I'm REALLY looking forward to what could come out. Japanese has also been added as a language to the system, so expect some Jrock to come as well. Especially since some of the songs they've been releasing are better than some of the bigger bands that come down the pipeline, I have to include these because I can't get them out of my head.
Has anyone see the fable "Mad Catz - Rock Band 3 MIDI PRO-Adapter" for the PS3? I have being looking for it for the longest time and I am yet to find it. I ws going to pre order it in amazon but it is backordered.

I ordered the Xbox 360 one from Amazon. First they said it would come in March, around the same time as the guitar. Then they said it would actually come in February. Then they said oh noes we said these would be out in February, but they aren't. Click here if you still want one. I clicked, and I haven't heard back since. If I come across one before Amazon ships, I'll cancel the Amazon order and buy it. Otherwise it's a waiting game.
Second off: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/08/super-meat-boy-rock-band-network/ Rock Band Network is awesome. They are getting bigger names, and they've really brought some smaller bands to the attention of hardcore players. (Children of Nova, Amberian Dawn, Evile, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Emperor, The Riptides) And as an extra bonus people, February 15th is RBN 2.0, so Harmonies and Keys are coming!
Fourth: Lots of people are going nuts over the new DLC coming on the 15th, which I'll just list.
• Animotion – “Obsession†• B.o.B. (featuring Hayley Williams) – “Airplanes†• Bonnie Tyler – “Total Eclipse of the Heart • The Human League – “Don’t You Want Me†• Lady Antebellum – “Need You Now†• Meat Loaf – “Paradise by the Dashboard Light†• Stevie Nicks – “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Aroundâ€Â

I have the MIDI adapter. It's smaller than it looked in the pictures. You can actually hold it and use it as a controller kinda comfortably, but it's not comfortable or useful than a regular controller. You'll only be using it for its MIDI powers. It does have a belt clip and a volume dial, which is nice. The overdrive button is also pretty good.

Belt clip is a pretty genius idea. Can you describe the overdrive button a little more? Is it really easy to just reach down and smash it without looking it you've got it clipped on your hip?

You can easily find it and hit it without looking. It take sup the entire corner of the controller. It definitely takes a second or so to get your hand over there. It's not like you can smash it, though. The controller isn't that big. I might end up putting it on the floor under my toe. We'll know next week.
So, it has finally shipped, now I just need to find the adaptor in ebay :P
Your guitar shipped? Mine didn't.
Well, I received the e-mail informing me that i has being shipped, along with the tracking number. However,I clicked on the tracking number and it is not on the system just yet. On a good note, I was able to find the adapter at mrsp on my local Best Buy
I also received the e-mail that the guitar has shipped. I almost can't believe it. I was so sure this thing was going to be vaporware, or at least heavily delayed.
I have an additional problem now, though. I need an amp. Obviously nothing fancy or large. I need the most basic of basic amps that is inexpensive, but isn't just a piece of crap that will break or suck.
Does anyone have any experience with the iRig? http://www.ikmultimedia.com/irig/features/ Since I have an iPhone, I figure this might be a way to get the equivalent of a lot of expensive equipment for a lot less money and without taking up a lot of space in my apartment. Is it a good replacement for a physical amp, or is it just a gimmick?
I also thought that. Best Buy did a pretty poor job on advertising this guitar. It was only advertised on its website under the keyword Rock Band and not in the main page. However, I am pretty sure that even though there was a pretty poor advetisement job people still knew about it. Why? Well, I have gone to that Best Buy at least twice amonth during the last couple of months because of holiday season and returns, and yesterday was the first time I saw the midi adapter in three months. Also, all the associates were running crazily all over the store in order to set stuff up for all the new Tuesday releases, and there were only two midi adaptors left on the PS3 section. I really can't wait to see if this thing really works, anyways. I am very excited :O
My estimated delivery date is next Tuesday. We'll see if I actually get it on that day. UPS might leave me the yellow slip, and I won't be home until late.

Wow dude, mine is today; and it is ground shipping. Hopefully someone will be at home to sign for it :O I will post pictures if I get it today.
Finally got an email saying that my guitar is on backorder, so it'll take a week or two longer to arrive. I thought the whole idea of pre-ordering was to avoid this.
It just arrived today, here are some pictures: Manual
Special note to X-Box users
Extra stuff
The guitar
Back of the box
Front of the Box
I will write my first impressions later today in the mean time I can only say that it looks very sturdy and Also it looks like the adapter can attach itself to the guitar when playing Rock Band 3
I gotta say that the tutorial is very intuitively, and the guitar recognizes the all the movements of your fingers, which is awesome. Also, each guitar pro song comes with its own tutorial. I am going to finish this early tutorial and try the Power of Love later on the week.

Edit: Graw, dead links.
First off: http://gnews.com/activision-stops-the-rocking-by-cancelling-guitar-hero-14201138024010/ Lots of controversy over what this could mean for Rock Band, or if it signifies a dying genre of gaming. Time will tell.

Sits right between the stock pro guitar and the stratocaster in both price and quality.
