Oh yes, that's true, I don't complain about his post. I complain about the fact that the log in information for that account are posted for everyone to see on the internet. I see no sense in accepting an account that's so painfully obvious made to be opened for spammers to use. We won't be able to tell if it's the same person using that account or not.
Hey kettle, Yyou're black!
Pardon? How am I black? I did not sign up to this forum and then go and post the log in information out there on the internet for spammers all over the world to use and pollute these forums with "GET YOUR VIAGRA AT BUYVIAGRADOTCOM!" messages.
Just because the username is bugmenot, how do you know that it is actually wide open? Someone could have just chosen it as their username.
Also, someone smart enough to use bugmenot is probably smart enough to post here. A spammer isn't usually that smart. Notice the distinct lack of spam? If spam shows up, then we'll do something.

Because I checked bugmenot before I complained.

I'm not talking run of the mill spammers. Spammers know about bugmenot and that it stores log in information. Said information is used for example to post spam comments on youtube. What's that saying, first the cow has to drown before the well is covered? Preventive medicine, there's a reason why people do certain things, to prevent possible future calamities.
Let it be known, guy who posted first with that account, I have nothing against you, I'd just rather be able and know that the person who posted post x is also the same as the person who posted post y. Bugmenot is useful, for example to get past those stupid newspaper sites restrictions, it just has no use on a forum imho.
Ok, so now I need quick, simple instructions /w links to guide me through this process. I can bet it's gonna be complicated. ^_^ Please understand my level of complicated may be your level of simple.
1) Download and install Tribes 2. 2) Launch "Tribes 2 Solo & Lan". 3) Click "Launch" (button in the bottom left corner). 4) Go to "Lan Game". 5) Click the "Join" tab at the top. 6) Press the "Insert" key on your keyboard. 7) Insert the IP address and port number in the form "xx.xx.xx.xx:pppp" and press ok. 8) Click "Join" in the bottom right. 9) Underpants. 10) ???? 11) Profit!
Just played against Nineless and it's working fine. He learned an important lesson about missile launchers and flying too high, then he learned how to use those stupid flares and spoiled my fun.

I DID NOT LEARN! I already knew that! >:( Flying high = win, I did not expect you to put on medium armour and bother with the rocket launcher.
Man, you guys have no idea. Tribes is designed to have like 40+ players at once. What do you do when a transport full of heavies with mortars comes at you?
Tribes is designed to have like 40+ players at once.
Your team would need dedicated engineers. Not to make one piddly little sentry and then bang on it, but to deploy a sensor net, a perimeter defense system, a base defense system, and remote bases. In addition, they would need to maintain these deployments, modify/commandeer base turrets as needed, and set up cloaker defenses. On a full server, a team with less than three of these people would be screwed.
You'd have people whose sole job was to pilot the transports and bombers as needed. Others would serve as tailgunners and, if shot down, revert to recon and targets of opportunity. Depending on the map, you'd often see a team of three Shrike pilots simply performing air superiority duty.

Yes, yes, you told many times, hence I wanna play, I wanna build stuff and not get nuked instantly because I'm the only player with a brain on my team.

Never mind. VHBlood found this.
The hack works and is only needed by the server. Widespread Tr2 [Tb2?] may now commence.

"Shazbot!" "Come Get Some!"
I did find a link to tribes2_gsi.exe here though.
