Sure for now. If I don't need him to know it anymore, I can have it removed. But that's down the road. What are other good pokemans to have in your team to learn Fly?

Ro, I would actually suggest keeping your Noctowl and not using Lugia in your team (except for taking on the Elite Four for the first time, they're a pain in the ass). Legendaries start out powerful, but mellow out eventually. Plus, Noctowl is just a beast.

Ok. I'll just put him in the nursery for now, so he can level.
I'm currently stuck. Just took care of the Lake of Rage incident and some guy selling candy bars will not let me head East. What did I forget to do?
Did you take care of all the other gyms? Is Blackthorn your last gym? If that's the case, then you just need to take down Team Rocket in the radio station in Goldenrod.
I thought you would say so. Each are more alike a brick than alike each other. Noctowl is not a beast, merely a special wall, Xatu is more offensive with no amazing defenses, just enough to actually deal damage, even with fly.
Okay all you pokemon peoples, this month seems to be the month of buying games for me. Heart Gold runs fine on the r4, but it lacks the ability to do the whole pokewalker thing. Is the pokewalker worth it? I liked diamond, and the last one I actually played to a level of completion was pokemon blue. I don't care about planting seeds or decorating my pokemon.
So what's the deal with this walker thing. Is it like a pokemon themed tamagotchi?
There are a few pokemon that you can't get in game (from the other version, last gen) that you can get in the pokewalker as well as pokemon with unusual movesets (pikachu with fly/surf).
Note: You can only get those Pikachu after an event. So yeah, unless you actually can get to one of those events and feel like bothering with it, you'll not see surfing/flying Pikachu.
I bought this game the day it came out. No Lugia figurine for me, though. Even though I preordered, they ran out.
Either way, the day it came out, me and a handfull of friends all got together to begin our journey. I started with Totodile but after it was fully evolved I ditched him in my box, because Gyrados is a better water pokemon. From then on I treated my Dratini as my starter. Dragonair has the most adorable overworld sprite. Now I've beaten all of the gym leaders, but after three days and over 200 ultraballs, I stopped playing because I was sick of trying to catch Articuno.

And yes, the walker's just another Pokémon Pikachu only with more functionality. You can catch a few pokémon with it in a sort of rock-paper-scissors game. If you want a pedometer/be a 'hipster' get one.
